Startup Data

Via the application Startup data (STUPDT) you can define certain parameters, which are automatically set as the standard pre-assignment in other applications.

At least the mandatory fields 'Company', 'Fact', 'Period', and 'Language' must be assigned. Each user may only change his own default information.

Particularities:

Sort option GRPMNR: If a sort specification is stored here, it is preset by default when the group monitor is called, but can be changed at any time. There are 4 sorting options to display the group structure (application GRPMNR).

Business unit: If you are not working with business units, this can be ensured by entering "*" in the business unit field.

Hide data with valid-until entry: This option affects all applications for maintaining master data, e.g., accounts that are no longer valid would no longer be displayed in the COADFN application after activating this option.

Default master data valid from period: The period entered here is used as the default in all master data applications and when importing new master data.

Further input fields: The keys entered here are used for presetting in other applications.

Fields without entry option - authorization information: These fields are only displayed here and must be set using the STUPDTATH application. For more information on the STUPDTATH application, see Users and Authorizations.
